We’re Partying with Pocket Gamer at San Francisco PGC ’17!
With E3 nearly wrapped up, we’ve just enough time to catch our breath before diving into another spate of conferences, kicking off with Pocket Gamer Connects and VR Connects at the Bespoke Centre, San Francisco at the end of June.
Both Josh and Regina will be at the conference, and on hand to talk with potential investors and publishers regarding our portfolio of creative IP. They will also be available to talk to attendees regarding your development requirements, be they games, apps or VR!
We already have our schedules nearly booked up so if you are in attendance and want to secure a slot with the team, please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org so we can accommodate you.
A Lens for VR Adoption – VR Connects Talk on Tuesday 27th
Not content with just taking in the sights and sounds of the conference, the team is proud to be delivering a talk for VR Connects. We will be discussing VR adoption with insight into progression of the tech recently and some foresight for the years to come. We will also be looking outside of games for this tech, focussing on the broader creative spectrum it welcomes.
You can check out our talk on Tuesday 26th June, alongside other VR experts of the industry. For full details, check out the line-up here: Line Up
Judge Josh is on form for The Very Big Indie Pitch!
Are you an indie developer with an exciting new mobile or VR (or both) project you want to show off? Well, if you enter The Big Indie Pitch you could be selected to showcase your work for Pocket Gamer’s panel of judges. Included in the panel are publishers, investors, members of hardware development companies and industry professionals. Our very own, Josh Rose, will be on the panel so be sure to say ‘hello’ if you are demoing on the day!
The competition kicks off at 2:00pm on the Tuesday with the finalists announced at 5:00pm of the same day. The second day of the event opens up the voting to delegates of the whole conference, allowing them to vote for their favourites of the top 5 from the preceding day. Come to room Track 1 at 5:30pm on Wednesday 27th June to find out the winners of both the Indie Pitch and the VR pitch!
An Old Hand with a New Beard!
Did you know, the last Very Big Indie Pitch was held at Pocket Gamer Connects in London? Our Creative Director, David Christensen’s game Starbeard, came third in the competition taking away some great press coverage and prizes courtesy of Steel Media.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
