Ex Ubisoft David Christensen Joins Robot Sea Monster Games
We’re happy to announce that David Christensen has joined Robot Sea Monster Games as Creative Director. An excessively talented artist, David’s previous work includes the Ubisoft game series Hungry Shark: Evolution, Little Raiders: Robin’s Revenge, Heroes & Havoc, and more.
David was making waves with our clients and the team a short while before coming on full time. His high level design and technical skills caught our eye as a freelancer so we couldn’t let this fishie get away!
David worked on a few of our projects in 2016 including Pop Quest and Team Bike Challenge before getting his teeth firmly into the Brooklyn Microgrid project, of which he is both the Creative Director and Custerom Relationship Manager.
David is part of our London team, despite his strong Californian accent! This often confuses and delights in conference calls however, he has picked up some interesting phrases and humour from his time in Britain, much to the remainder of the London teams joy.
As well as working with us, David has been trying his hand at coding in Unity with his freelance development studio Leviathan Creative on the project: Starbeard. The game has been gaining a lot of attention from the media, since it took 3rd place at the Big Indie Pitch twice in a row!
David has over 8 years of experience across almost every discipline in the art and design pipeline. Working for major companies and popular IPs such as Wizards of the Coast, Sony Online Entertainment, NGMOCO, and the Ubisoft Hungry Shark mobile game series, David’s diverse skillset allows him to ensure users are engaged and coming back for more.
David is able to envision, draft, iterate and finalise client ideas with a keen yet critical artistic eye. His talent is not only incredible in the video game sector but shines strongly for more corporate or marketing driven projects. His ability to alter compositions, design and application flow dependant on the clients target market audience allows him to be effectively placed as the director on a versatile and broad mix of projects.
David, though born and raised in San Rafel, has made his home in London, England where he has grown his professional network and reputation exponentially. He has a great sense of humor and always delivers over and beyond with a personable client relations strategy.
